Hold Yourself Together

Psalms 27:13-14; Romans 8:18

Have you ever felt that your life is falling apart and you don’t see any positive outcome through everything that you’re going through? Have you ever felt so drained that you try to hold yourself together? There are times where we need to find an advice or word from someone and we can’t find it nowhere, and we feel so desperate in search for an answer that we cry out loud in our inner self. Everyone in life goes through hardships and circumstances; some can probably turn to God, but there is a little portion of people who choose to believe. And that’s the problem with us at times. David, who fought giants, who won battles, defeated many, and conquered much, felt weak at times. He himself said once, “I would have lost heart.” David almost lost himself because of everything that he went through…unless he had believed. Paul also said that the present sufferings are not worth comparing to what is going to be revealed in us. I’m writing to you to let you know, that everything that you’re going through is not to destroy you but to reveal your true self. Hold yourself together until you see God being revealed in your life.

“The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.” – Arthur C. Clarke
